Unique Content - How to Create Unique Content

Content needs to be unique. This can be long letters, emails, website content, sales pitch pages, articles; anything that has been written with a target audience in mind should be unique and interesting. This is why there is constant demand of creative writers who can write about the same old subject, which have been written about a million times again, in a completely new manner.

Unique content has huge demand; this is because search engines work in favor of unique content. Each time the spider starts its checking out of websites, it is surely going to check out whether or not your content exists somewhere else too. If any duplicate does exist somewhere else, be assured your website ranking is going to go low and your website is going to become insignificant no matter how hard you have worked on everything else.

Unique content need not be absolutely intellectual. It should be necessarily be nice and interesting and clean. These are some absolute and basic necessities for each content or article. Unique content has far long been coveted, only how many know this. There are many websites which have unique content, and most of the times these are the ones running most successfully on the Internet.

There are some websites which are so content deprived that people have written one page and the later ones have been added only as AdSense advertisements. No wonder when you come across such websites, it is absolutely annoying.

Be it the website content or the articles written for marketing purposes one thing is absolutely guaranteed, and that is your content should be written around some keywords, without this the content has neither a direction, nor does it prompt the search engines to categorize what the content is all about.

Try out different content, some created with the help of software(software are replacing people) or some through the freelancers and search engine optimization services. Content should be interesting therefore, you make sure whoever writes the content for you writes it well and in an interesting manner.

Article Marketing - Know the Difference Between Duplicate and Unique Content

What is duplicate content? When something is not considered duplicate, does that mean it's unique? Is original content the same as unique. For me at least, these were some very confusing concepts.

First of all, the term duplicate content is HUGELY misunderstood. For instance, most people believe that if they submit an article to an article directory, and then to a newsletter, then to a blog, this would be considered duplicate content, but it's not.

DUPLICATE content is when you have the SAME article on the SAME website, on a different page. For instance if you submitted the same article to the same site, maybe after changing the title, this WOULD be considered duplicate content because it's listed on the same site more than once. Why would people do this? Well for the obvious reason, more back linking and less work, but also to fool Google into thinking that their site is bigger than it really is.

Now, please, DO NOT get duplicate content confused with unique content. They are entirely different. UNIQUE content means that the content can not be found anywhere else on the web, and that it was created uniquely for them. You will find a lot of sites that will request only 100% unique content for submission. Now, of course you're thinking, wait a minute, was hasn't been done already, what hasn't already been explained or written about? That's not necessarily the point of unique content. It is taking a concept or an idea, that has or has not already been explained, and putting your own unique twist on it. Make it more interesting, make it funny, make it controversial, do whatever you have to do to make it stand out. I for one, hate combing through the crap when I'm trying to find an answer to something. Don't B.S. to try and make 300 or 500 words, you'll lose your reader. Get to the point.

One more thing. I've also seen a lot of submission sites ask for original content. Again, this could be very confusing. ORIGINAL content means, they want content written by you, not someone else. They do not mean that they want unique content created just for them.

Once you understand what these terms mean, you can unlock the door to successful article marketing. So, get busy submitting, and get those articles out there!!

Unique Website Traffic With Geo Targeted Content

Getting unique website traffic from a certain location is a dream of many website builders, and some of them are built just with a purpose to serve on geographic location. To get unique website traffic from one country, you need to optimize your website for the country or city of your choice. Follow the steps given below and you will see geo targeted web traffic flocking to your website.

Step 1: Geo targeted keyword research for unique web traffic

All SEO activities begin with keyword research, isn't it? Then why this should be different? Choose your favorite keyword tool and conduct the research for your web site. You have to follow the same pattern that you do normally, just add name of the city or country to the keywords that describe your business.

For Example:

If you are targeting computer repair market, and your keywords are:

Computer repair, cheap computer repair, computer maintenance services

Then your geo targeted keywords will be as follow:

Computer repair in New York, New York cheap computer repair, New York computer maintenance services

As you saw, I took New York as the geographic location from where we need unique web site traffic.

Step 2: Use the keyword in the content

This is very, very important. How do you use this geo targeted keyword in your content will decide if you get geo targeted unique website traffic or not.

Do not stuff your content with too many keywords, use proper one and write the article in such a way that the article or blog post should reflect the interest of target market. Do not write generic content. While writing, focus as tightly as you can on the geographic location you are targeting.

Step 3: Submit your website to Google Local

Google local is a nice tool to use, if you are targeting a specification location.

Step 4: Use Google Webmaster tool

You should also update the location of site in Google webmaster tool. This will inform Google of your location and ensure that you get unique website traffic from that location.

That's it. You are done.

The Power of Unique Content in a Blog

The Internet is overflowing with information. You can find information on almost any topic that you search for whenever you need it. Think of any subject you can possibly imagine, and there are probably a large number of web pages devoted to it. The real power behind the internet is the abundance of completely unique and useful information that is only a click or two away. It is unique content on your blog that is also the key to gaining more information-hungry visitors to your site.

When a search engine spider crawls your blog, it will quickly read over all of your blog updates and entries. It will then compare what you have written in your blog to the content of other blogs. If it finds that the content on your blog is the same or very similar to that of others, it may see your entries as less reputable, and thus less important to visitors looking for that information. This is because your content is not unique, but is a duplication of other content already published to the web.

Search engines like Google and Yahoo are all about returning relevant results for searchers. They want to include as many new web sites and web pages as they can containing useful and relevant content. To do this and still return relevant searches however, they need to see completely brand new content on web sites and blogs. That is why the major search engines tend to favor unique content over content that has already been published in more than one place.

An example of unique content would be when you sit down and write out a brand new post for your own personal blog. Since your blog is the only place on the internet where this content appears, it is considered unique content. It will be returned in the main search engines results rather than being relegated to the supplement index where it cannot be easily found.

There are other forms of content, such as private label rights (PLR) content and syndicated articles from article directories. PLR content and syndicated articles are great to use because it bulks up your website to appear larger and more useful your visitors. However, while this type of content may be useful for your readers, it will not usually improve your web site visibility in search engines, because it is not entirely new and unique.

Unique content in a blog is an absolute must if you want to improve your site rankings in search engine results. If you expect to get a reasonable amount of visitors, your blog should include unique content that is posted only on your blog and nowhere else online.

How to Make Online Profits With PLR Products by Creating Unique Web Content

Today, because of the internet and on-line information products, it's perfectly possible that a small niche opportunity can be the beginning of a great business, Part of the skill you'll learn as you go along is in knowing which niche opportunity to invest time and effort into. The other part is in having unique, "available only from you" content that your target market will really want and be prepared to spend money to have, but where do you start?

To begin with, you most likely don't have your own unique product and purchasing the rights to a "made only for you" package can be expensive. One option is the use of Private Label Rights (PLR) material but let's be straight from the start, you should never offer PLR content in its "straight out of the tin" format. All that happens is that you (and perhaps dozens of others) end up offering the same dull content to your audience. What you need is some method to create the unique, "available only from you" content that you really want.

Find a market first, and then create your unique niche product that satisfies demand.

The mistake that all new marketers make is to start with a product that they think is great and then try to find a market to sell to. The correct approach, though it often seems "back to front" is to find your market and then find a product to sell to this group of potential customers that addresses a known or imagined problem. So the first thing we need to do is do is identify an actual or imagined problem that people wish to cure.

The problem itself does not necessarily have to be a "real" problem in the sense that it is an actual physical affliction. It is merely enough that our potential market worries about it being a problem. They may consider that their life would be so much better if only they could speak a foreign language, or could somehow get rid of unsightly (to them) facial hair. Other people may look at them a see nothing wrong at all; but to them they have a real problem that they want us to help cure.

What do people most want to have; or to avoid?

It has often been said that people will really only move in one of two ways and that is either "Toward a pleasure" or alternatively, "Away from a pain". The pleasure can be any desired objective and can be physical or emotional, for instance; a new car, learning a foreign language, an exotic holiday or a promotion at work, etc. Also, the pain can be any real or imagined problem they have such as bad breath, mounting debts, can't get a date with that really attractive girl or boy, etc. Personally, I always feel that any solution is much more motivational when you present it in the "moving toward the pleasure" scenario. It always seems so much easier to implement something positive rather than trying to avoid a negative.

Anyway, if you can find a unique solution that helps people to find "their" pleasure or avoid the pain; you'll have a winning info product, but the content must be new and fresh.

Create the unique content that solves people's problems and helps them to achieve the pleasure or avoid the pain.

As we mentioned before, PLR material should never be offered in its "straight out of the tin" format. That however doesn't mean that we can't use them to create our very own, unique, "solving that special problem" type of info product. If you're not a particularly gifted writer it is often a much more straightforward approach to find a PLR product in your niche area and rewrite the package to offer to your chosen market than it is to create a product from scratch.

By purchasing the license to one, or more, products we can rewrite them, change the title, edit them, add bits from different packages together, change them any way we want, place new covers on the front, add our own graphics, etc. - in short we should turn them from boring old "everyone has the same product" into a problem solving solution that is uniquely ours. In this way, we create a new product by having rewritten one or more previous packages that were written in a very general way.

By following this overall outline, we can create web content that will offer valuable information to our customers and, at the same time, be unique and fresh.

What is Unique Content?

Many Internet Marketers agree and it is generally a widely accepted fact that content on a website isn't the actual king, however unique content is. As a Internet Marketer or blogger you want (and possibly need) a constant, ever growing stream of traffic to your site. The best way to ensure that your website is regarded as a high-quality site is to constantly provide high-quality unique content.

If your aim is to rank high in search engines such as like Google, Yahoo and Bing and have a somewhat dominating presence online, you need to ensure that the content contained on your website or blog are unique. Of course, they also need to be of a high quality, informative and provide value to the reader. While ensuring that you are providing high quality unique content, you should always keep Search Engine Optimization in the back of your mind - after all creating unique content is made so much better by employing On-Page SEO techniques. The secret to producing unique content is spending some time brainstorming. While brainstorming your next article consider the following:

What you would like to cover in your article
What primary keyword you would like to target
How would you like to break-up the article (Introduction, Body, Conclusion)

Of course, you can always look at outsourcing content writing and if you provide clear instructions the articles that are produced by many content writers are not only unique but also high-quality.

Unique Content Checker - Copyscape

While we do our best to write up unique content for use on our own websites, there are those unfortunate few who copy our content, almost word-for-word and use it on their own websites. Whether it is because they are lazy, cannot write up high quality content or cannot afford a content writer, these people who use your content benefit from it.

A great online tool to check for other occurrences of content that resides on your website or blog is Copyscape. Copyscape is an online plagiarism detection service that checks whether similar text content appears elsewhere on the Internet. You basically type in a URL of where the original content resides and Copyscape returns a list of web pages that contain similar text to all or parts of the content. While Copyscape will not stop others from using your content, there are different banners available which you can host on your website to offer some level of deterrent.

Generating Unique Content - How to Do it For Your Website

Well, the first question is, why do you need to have unique content on your website? It's really all down to the search engines; they want original content which ends in unique results, thus making it a much better experience for the users and hopefully ensuring that they will return to the site again. As can be seen, unique content is of the highest importance to the search engines therefore they have specific strategies to find out what is original content and what isn't. They can easily recognise all of the common navigational elements such as banners and toolbars and then they will go on to pick out the unique content of the site. The reason for search engines wanting original content is to give the users a valuable experience, therefore to do this the search engines believe the content has to be from an original source.

The question is how to fulfil the search engines demand for unique content whilst finding the strategy that is right for your business and website.

There are 3 core strategies in generating unique content:

1.Machine-built results-these are the kinds of results you find on holiday booking sites or train travel sites. These results are built up of databases of information and then provide an automated response of data when prompted. This strategy provides a huge amount of unique content and can be made bigger or smaller depending on the size of your site.

2. Editorial-this is content that we have come up with ourselves; articles, videos and also hiring content writers, copywriters and journalists. Content writers can also be outsourced in other parts of the world where it is often cheaper, however, the quality often decreases too. To put it simply, most content that has been written by a human (and not a machine!) can be classed as editorial.

3. User Generated Content (UGC)-most web experts would agree that this is the most valuable type of unique content; however, without the right strategy it can be very difficult. Most businesses will use the help of web experts specialising in social media in order to decide their best approach. Working together, you will have to create a community within which users can contribute, and remember it will have to be for free. For some sites, it is easier to generate quality unique content (for example, review sites). However, for other businesses it can be difficult to gain quality unique content.

Generating unique, original content for your website can be a long process; however, an empty site isn't a website at all. You want your website to reflect your business. Each business is in need of a different strategy so spend time researching and talking to web expert companies until you find the approach that is right for you.

Reasons For Publishing Unique Content

There are many people who still don't understand the real purpose of publishing unique content.

It is a proven fact that unique content helps in building a site's or a person's credibility to a great extent.

Keeping the importance of high quality unique content in mind, below I have listed some of the main reasons why every online publisher should consider publishing unique content.

Number 1:

If you add top quality original content to your site at regular intervals, then it is assured that your website will have a better search engine ranking. Search engines love unique content and often penalize duplicate content. Therefore, you can really boast of owning a site that contains absolutely original articles unlike many other websites.

Number 2:

Original content can definitely boost traffic flow to your site. Many webmasters prefer linking their websites with those that contain highly informative and fresh content. Therefore, with original content, you can earn a lot of back links to your site, which would ensure high flow of traffic.

Number 3:

If you add top notch unique content on a regular basis, it's 100% guaranteed that a lot of people will come back to your website in search of fresh information. Thus, adding unique articles will definitely establish your website as a natural source of info that people would love to get from time to time.

Number 4:

A lot of times I have received newsletters that were pretty much similar, even though they came from different people. What many people do is, they simply reword some other marketer's newsletters and send them out to their subscribers. I have come across similar (but reworded) newsletters a lot of times, and that's, indeed, a major turn off for me. So, from the point of view of a subscriber, I would like to tell you that people love some fresh and unique content instead of rehashed ones. A newsletter that is crafted in a unique and interesting way is sure going to attract a lot of subscribers and help you build an active and responsive mailing list.

Number 5:

Be it a review article or an informative article, the more unique content you offer to your customers, the more will be your chances of establishing yourself as an authority on the subjects or topics that you're writing about. This way you will be on your way to securing more business and sales.

These are the 5 basic reasons why every online marketer must make use of unique content in order to build their credibility in their chosen niche. Many people recommend rewriting others articles to make them unique but I would not really suggest that you do it always. The reason for this is, just by rewriting an existing article, you are not actually adding any new information.

In this age of rampant article marketing , people mostly attempt to take the short route and simply rewrite articles that are published all over the Internet. By doing this, they are not offering much value to their customers-are they? This way they are simply playing safe to prevent themselves from copyright infringement laws. This practice is definitely not illegal by any means, but in my opinion publishing some content that is conceptually unique plays a major role in establishing one's expertise in their business.

If you are serious about your online business and want to earn your customer's trust and faith, I would strongly suggest you to publish some great content that is conceptually unique.
