Nobody wants to buy the same old toys and games for their kids. Once in awhile you need to spice things up and show your kids that they are special and really deserve something special. So what should you buy them?
Most of the time kids take to some subject really well. For example, my daughter is really into art. So naturally I would buy her something that has to do with Art. To buy a truly unique gift for a child is what you really want to find however.
Of course you don't want to go out of your way to buy a 2 year old a truly unique gift. They won't understand it is truly unique and he or she will probably just destroy it anyway. You want to buy a unique gift for a child that will really appreciate it. Like ages 5 and up. Think about things that your child really likes then find a gift that suites that enjoyment really well. Once they see that gift it will fill their hearts with joy.
So don't be a lame parent and go to the local toys r us every time their is an event involving gifts for your child. Change it up once in awhile and take the time to go out and buy your child or children a truly unique gift that they will never forget. I promise it will be worth it later on in life.
By the way, I know some kids see an awesome toy that another child has and really wants one of their own. Remember that is not a unique gift. I am sure your son or daughter will think it is but I think it is not. We Americans are notorious for that.
