Adult Halloween Costumes Should Be Unique and Affordable

Okay, so now you have decided to dress up like a kid and you are 34.....or more. What's up with this? For a minute try to think back to when you're really were a kid. What was one of your favorite holidays? Mine was Halloween. I loved the idea of getting the stuffing scared out of me and in turn scaring other kids.....and hopefully a few adults. I really liked the candy. It was an orgy of sugar and chocolate wrapped up with scary images. What was even more fun was the fact that you could disguise yourself. On this one night you could be anybody you wanted to be as long as your parents could either make or buy your costume. Sometimes a bed sheet with the mask and a flashlight made a great ghost. If you were lucky maybe your mom could sew something really nifty that the other kids didn't have. It was just great fun dressing up and getting out getting your share of the goodies. Then something terrible happened, we grew up. Halloween was no longer vampires, witches and goblins and tons of candy. It was more likely spent on a date or maybe going to a party but in any case it just wasn't as much fun.

Now fast forward past the adolescent and teenage years and think about taking your own child or nephew or younger cousin out for a trick-or-treat session. The old thrill returned with a rush and you wished that you too could wear a costume and get a bag full of candy and prizes. Well guess what? You can! All you have to do now is go online and search for your favorite costume, movie character, ghoul or vampire, or historical figure. Is Spiderman your fancy? What about Wolverine or Captain Jack sparrow? Maybe you're looking for a funny costume. Maybe you put on a few pounds since high school, would a plus sized costume help? Anything is possible in our quest to not give up the joy of childhood just because somebody said that we were adults. So grab your mouse get on board and start thinking about who you will be this Halloween.

Whether you're just going out in the neighborhood, to a local Halloween party, or to your corner tavern to meet friends you really want to look for something that's unique, something that will generate conversation. The only possible problem that could stand in the way is the cost. But there are many, many available and affordable costumes and costume sources that won't break the bank. The key is knowing who you want to be and how much you can afford to spend. With those simple parameters and a few mouse clicks you can be headed out toward the days when Peter Pan, Harry Potter or any number of literary, historic or movie characters commanded your imagination in a way that was insanely magical.
